NDC government reportedly stole TVs, calendars, fridges, clocks from Flagstaff House

According to a story run in The Chronicle newspaper on Friday January 27, officials from the previous government took along with them fridges, clocks, television sets and even calendars among others when they vacated the premises on January 6, 2017.

The immediate past National Democratic Congress government are being accused of pilfering the seat of government of all its essential household items.

According to the paper’s sources, the new government was surprised when officials noticed the situation upon taking office on January 7 and have taken steps to replace some of the missing items to “ensure smooth working environment in the state facility.”

However, the paper cannot establish if the new government have taken steps to retrieve the items or question officials from the erstwhile John Mahama about the whereabouts of the items.

The NDC is yet to respond to the allegations.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) won an emphatic mandate to lead the country in the executive and legislature ending the eight year rule of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
