Mahama picks NDC presidential nomination form
The forms were picked on his behalf by the Asawase Constituency of the NDC and paid the GHȼ20,000 cost for the form.

Mahama is reported to have received pledges amounting to about GHȼ500,000 in support of his campaign whilst other contestants in the race, are complaining that the GHȼ20,000 cost for the nomination form and the GHȼ400,000 filing fee was on the higher side.
Meanwhile, an official short code and a mobile money number have been secured by two support groups for the John Mahama 2020 Campaign.

The Committee for Mahama Election Two (COMET) and MPs4Mahama, a group of 94 Minority Members of Parliament who have declared their support for former President John Mahama's bid to run for the National Democratic Congress' flag bearer slot ahead of the 2020 general elections, have begun a fund-raising campaign for Mr Mahama ahead of the NDC flag bearer election.
The fundraisers have announced an official shortcode and mobile money account through which contributions can be made.
The shortcode is *713*2020*amount# on all networks or MTN mobile money number 0540842021.
The fundraisers said all pledges of GHS1,000 towards the GHS400,000 filing fee should be sent by mobile money to 0540842021.
