The cost of nominations forms and filing fees is GH¢1,000 and GH¢10,000 respectively, with a 50 per cent discount on the filing fees for females and persons with disability.

However, pollster Ben Ephson has revealed that John Dumelo and son of former president John Agyekum Kufuor, Chief Kufour are likely to stand for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.

He said the NPP may consider Chief Kufour as a compromise to quench the simmering tension between the wives of the late Member of Parliament for the area, Emmanuel Kyeremanten Agyarko who have clashed over the seat of their late husband.

The two wives are his first and legitimate wife of the late MP, Naana Agyarko and one Lydia Alhassan.
