President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) defeated President John Mahama by 53.8 percent to 44.4 percent in the December polls.

Nana Addo secured 5,716,609 votes, representing 53.84 per cent of the valid votes cast whiles President John Mahama secured 4,713,277 votes, representing 44.40 per cent.

The committee’s work confronted a lot of challenges together with some youth preventing one of its meetings.

The 90-day deadline given to the committee was prolonged by a minimum of a month to allow it full its work.
