English boxer wants to fight Floyd Mayweather

The former world champions thinks Floyd Mayweather is avoiding him and wants to face another high profile name in Manny Pacquiao

English boxer Amir Khan has revealed his wish to fight Floyd Mayweather even though he thinks the undefeated champion is avoiding him.

"Floyd is clearly avoiding me; that's the fight I want, I've proved myself in the welterweight division, so I don't know what more to do," Khan said in an interview with The National.

Khan who is a former world champion has also revealed that should he be snubbed by Mayweather, he will be ready to fight Mayweather's last opponent, Manny Pacquiao.

The current WBC Silver Welterweight holder however wants Pacquiao to take up the challenge and face him.

"If Manny mans up and wants to take the fight then it will happen, but the only fight I am interested in right now is Floyd Mayweather," Khan said in an interview with The National.

"It's all rumours and speculation, I've not spoken to Manny about a fight in Dubai and neither did our camps, so it's untrue."

"Look, if Manny wants to fight, we can do it, I've offered him and his team in the past, but they turned us down."
