Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has thrown a big challenge to Isaac Dogboe to be his next opponent
The 30-year-old boxer is mostly compared with Dogboe in the industry and some even believe the latter is a better boxer f the two.
And despite Tagoe’s win against his Argentine opponent David Saucedo to successfully defend his IBO Lightweight title on Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena, sports loving fans who thronged the arena were not impressed with the display of the Ghanaian boxer.
Game Boy has come under intense criticisms following the Saturday uninspiring performance, but he believes he is the finest in the country at the moment and has even thrown a challenge to the undefeated Isaac Dogboe to settle the score on the best boxer in the country so far.
''Stop comparing me with Isaac Dogboe. What shows he can stop me?'' Tagoe quizzed Asempa FM's Immortal Acheampong.
''He has no magic, even if I am asleep and called immediately to fight Dogboe I will beat him.
Tagoe is managed by Baby Jet promotions which is owned by Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who tweeted on Monday to fuel matters.
He wrote: ''His father was bragging today. Smh. We are waiting for them paa. We talk and back it up. Game Boy will come down for him and we will all see that this is no match at all.''
Both boxers are unbeaten in their respective divisions and should they agree to slug it out, it would
