The national u-20 football team of Ghana have been stunned by their Nigerien counterparts on Friday.

The Black Stars have been defeated 1-0 by Niger in their opening game in the WAFU u-20 championship on Friday.

The first half of the game failed to produce any goal despite both sides coming close to scoring.

The Black Satellites will take on Nigeria in their second group game of the ongoing championship in Lome.
