Baba Rahman donates to Dreams FC for beating Dwarfs

The Black Stars defender has delivered on his promise to former side

Dreams FC defied all odds to inflict Dwarfs, who were playing in front of a large home crowd with a painful 1-0 defeat, courtesy Johnson’s Oppong’s lone goal in the 43rd minute.

Baba Rahman, a former skipper of the Kweiman based side prior to the game promised to pay their winning bonuses should they manage a victory at Dwarfs and has delivered on his promise, after they handed them a 1-0 defeat.

“Baba Rahman promised to pay the winning bonuses of the team ahead of the Dwarfs game in order to motivate them and he has done justice to that. However he told us not to disclose the amount he has donated to the team,” Aminu Shadow, the Administrative Manager of the club told Pulse Sports.

Baba Rahman played for Dreams FC, before he was loaned to Asante Kotoko in the 2011-12 season. It was from there that he caught the attention of Greuther Furth, who secured his move to Germanay. His dream transfer from Aausburg to Chelsea was completed in 2015, but wasn’t getting much playing time. However, he has made a good account of himself, after he was selected to start in Chelsea’s last 2 games.
