Frankfurt is one of the oldest German clubs, having been founded on 8 March 1899 which is 108 years ago.

The club play at Commerzbank-Arena, which 51, 500 capacity stadium.

The official colours of the club are red and black and the alternative one is red and white.

Kevin-Prince Boateng’s new side Eintracht Frankfurt have won the German topflight league once which happened in 1959.

They are four times winners of the German Pokal, which is their version of the FA Cup-1974, 1975, 1981, 1988.

They have a good European record: Eintracht Frankfurt finished runners-up in the 1960 European Cup, after losing the final to Real Madrid. They German giants won the UEFA Cup in 1980 and the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1967.

Eintracht Frankfurt is managed by Niko Kovac, a former Bayern Munich and ex-Croatian international.

The finished 11 on the Bundesliga league log in the 2016-17 season.
