Togolese striker shows off his vintage car

Emmanuel Adebayor took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself with one of his cars which he called an 'a time machine'.

 

Emmanuel Adebayor might still be without a club, but the Togo international is using the time off football to enjoy the fruit of his hard work.

The striker has been having time off at and Ghana before signing for another football club in January 2015.

He took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself with one of his cars which he called an 'a time machine'.

"About to go for a ride in this old school whip," the former Arsenal striker wrote on his Instagram along with the photo of himself sitting on the 1977edition of Pontiac Grand Prix.

"This is not just a car, it's a time machine," he wrote.

Adebayor has also been training with a local side in Togo in a bid to remain match fitness as his search for a new club continues.

Adebayor was registered as a Tottenham player at the end of the transfer window which prevents him from signing for anyone else until the window re-opens.

He has been linked with a move to English Premier League side, Watford.

Watford manager Quique Sánchez Flores could offer the 31-yea-rold striker a chance at the club if he can prove his fitness.
