Great Olympics returned to winning ways after their midweek 4-0 loss to Hearts of Oak by beating Liberty Professionals on Sunday.

The Dade Boys earned the three maximum points courtesy of a late Maxwell Abbey’s superb half volley to secure a 2-1 win against Liberty Professionals in Week 15 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Wonder Club took the lead in the 20th minute courtesy Maxwell Nii Abbey Quaye. The captain on the day stretched to tap home David Amuzu's corner to hand his outfit an early advantage.

But Liberty fought back to pull level courtesy Elvis Kyei-Baffour’s expertly taken penalty on the stroke of half time.

Six minutes to full time, Maxwell Nii Abbey Quaye scored his brace on the day which proved to be the match-winner for the Wonder Club.

The Wonder Club held on to record their fifth victory of the season. The result pushed Olympics to 12th on the table with 17 points, with Liberty dropping to 15th spot.

Olympics next come up against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium while Liberty Professionals welcome King Faisal to the Carl Reindorf Park in week 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
