The 27-year-old is currently plying his trade in Bulgaria for CSKA Moskow and has already scored a goal for the Black Stars in five appearances.
Gyasi who grew up in a poverty stricken community but braved the odds to emerge as professional player has disclosed that he had to steal money to buy football boots.

"In this type of neighborhood where I grew up, there are only two ways: either you go left or you go to the right, or the right or wrong way," he said
"The boys I grew up with ... some of them are no longer alive because the neighborhood was hard to live.
"It was not just a neighborhood but a hard place. Bad things were happening there. But I had strict parents, especially my father.
"It prevented us from going through the streets. We did not have the money to buy football shoes, we had to steal them wherever we go."

The Ghanaian has scored four goals in 38 appearances for CSKA since joining.
