The Japanese forward joined the Cape Coast-based club in March after signing a deal until the end of that season.
Jindo Morishita: Ebusua Dwarfs’ Japanese striker trains with Sulley Muntari
Ebusua Dwarfs striker Jindo Morishita has been training with Sulley Muntari to get in shape ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season.
Despite failing to help Dwarfs maintain their topflight status, Morishita has extended his stay at the club.
The 26-year-old will be playing for Dwarfs in the upcoming Division One League and has been training hard ahead of the season.
In a photo that has gone viral, the striker is seen training with former Ghana international Sulley Muntari.
Meanwhile, Muntari is also currently without a club, with his last taste of club football coming in 2019 when he was on the books of Spanish lower division side Albacete.
In an interview last year, however, the veteran midfielder, who started his career with Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, said his doors are open to joining a local club.
Interacting with his fans on Instagram live, he revealed his love for Kotoko but was quick to add that he isn’t ruling out a move to Hearts of Oak either.
“I love Kotoko. They tried signing me when l was a young player in Kumasi," the former Inter Milan and AC Milan star said.
“I would love to retire with them, but l would not rule out Hearts, RTU [Real Tamale United], King Faisal or Liberty Professionals.”
It remains to be seen if Muntari will join any local club ahead of the start of the 2021/22 season.
