Black Stars Coach wants permanent residence for all national team coaches

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has requested that coaches for the other national teams also deserve permanent accommodation.

The Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars spoke after being presented that the 3 bedroom house located at the Airport Residential Area from the government of Ghana.

I believe that it is not worth it for the nation to be paying for the coach of the national team to be staying in a hotel.

“It is always really important that we get a permanent residence for the national team coach.

“I am really pleased and I hope that in future all national team coaches should have permanent accommodation, “he told pressmen gathered at his new residence.

Kwesi Appiah becomes the first occupant of the designated facility after the government previously used to spend GHC36000 a month on accommodation for the Black Stars coach.

Kwesi Appiah prior to this revealed that he was staying with a friend who held talks with the GFA and the Sports Ministry during the time the house was being procured.
