Kwesi Nyantakyi believes Avram Grant will lead the technical team of the Black Stars when they head to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.

Media reports circulating say the management committee of the Black Stars have held series of meetings considering parting ways with the 61-year-old Israeli trainer due to recent poor run of results in recent times.

But Nyantakyi has indicated that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has no such intention at the moment to replace Avram Grant.

“We have not discussed at any meeting to replace Avram Grant. Maybe be it would be done in the future, but at the moment our focus is on the 2017 to be staged in Gabon.

“We have to plan well and ensure we present the best of players available.
