The Scientific Soccer Lads were beaten by Dreams FC courtesy of Eric Gawu's second half strike to pile more pressure on him having already failed to amass all points in the second round of the season.
"My job is on the line that's why I must push the team to score." - George Lamptey

The dream of ending the season as one of the best four teams in the domestic league is bleak, something he admitted but remained adamant he will push the players to the extreme to achieve the target.
"I am a little bit afraid but I am the coach and the boys needs inspiration from me so i don't have to show it. I must remain strong and push them, tell the boys that 'we can do it' so that we will try and see if we can achieve it," he said.
However, he is afraid he may be shown the exit door if results does not improve in subsequent matches.
"My job is on the line that's why I must push the team to score. I must find ways and means that will help us to start winning matches," he stated.
"The results have not been coming but we're playing very well. We are creating so many chances but we've not been scoring. If we don't push them, if you don't encourage them to create chances that's where the problem is, but for me I am okay with them because I know the goals will start coming."
There were media reports that Mr. Lamptey have two games to save his job, but he says the media is always far from right when it comes to matters about Liberty Professionals.
"This is Liberty for you, the media will always get the stories, but at Liberty, it is not always true. I have not been told anything by anybody. We are all working to get results and our work is producing good football without results.
"We are certain the results will start coming. It is when the team is not playing well at all that's where the difficultly is. All the matches we played we were better than our opponents. We should have buried Dreams in the first half so there is nothing like that." He observed.
Liberty Professionals will take on Medeama SC tomorrow at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
