Barcelona star Lionel Messi reached 30 million Instagram followers on Thursday, December 3 and was congratulated by his basketball version, Stephen Curry.
To celebrate Messi's 30m followers, Curry posted a video on Iinstagram inviting the Barca star to a Golden State Warriors match in the future

Messi posted a photo of a Barcelona strip with No. 30 to celebrate his 30m followers which is also the Golden State Warriors’ jersey number of Curry.
“I wanted to celebrate the 30 million friends that we are here, on Instagram, and say thanks to every one of you for all the support,” Messi wrote on Instagram.
In response to Messi’s post, Curry posted a video on Iinstagram inviting Messi to a Golden State Warriors match in the future.

“Man I can't believe you hit 30 million followers on Instagram Leo, that's incredible,” Curry said.
“We've got to get you out to a Dubs game sooner than later to help you celebrate. But in the meantime, I had to get you this No 30 jersey to help you celebrate all your followers.”
Messi replied Curry and accepted the offer. He posted another photo of Curry's jersey with the No. 30.
Curry has been described as the Messi of NBA because of his style of play.
“I don't know - it's like a chicken or the egg kind of conversation. We both have a creative style, where it's just about a feel when you're out on the pitch or the court,” he said when he was asked.

“I try to do some fancy things out there with both hands, making crossover moves and kind of have a certain creativity and flair to my game.
“And that's definitely the style that Messi has when he's out there in his matches. I love watching him play. I'm a big fan. You never know what he's going to do at any particular moment.
“When he's on TV, everybody is glued in because, as soon as he gets a touch with the ball, something special could happen. And you've got to appreciate that kind of talent.”
