Memphis Depay has acknowledged Kotoko’s celebration in their 1-2 win against Accra Hearts of Oak on matchday six of the Ghana Premier League.

The former Manchester United forward Memphis Depay of Ghanaian descent has compiled a list of teams including Asante Kotoko who have imitated him in their celebration.
The Lyon forward’s father is a Ghanaian, so he might have heard about Asante-Kotoko rivalry and to see Naby Keita the one who scored the match-winner mimick his celebration means so much to him.

He took to his Twitter handle to highlight on Naby Keita's celebration.
Depay visited Ghana in June 2019 and 2019 to familiarize himself with the culture of his father’s native country.
On his second trip to Ghana, he visited places like Cape Coast and the School of Deaf and Dumb in the Eastern Region.
Memphis Depay is a regular member of the Netherlands national football team ‘The orange’.
