New Hearts General Manager cautions Ghanaian media

Mark Noonan has called on the media to desist from false reportage as they discharge their duties.

Newly appointed General Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak Mark Noonan has cautioned the media to refrain from false reportage.

The American was appointed last week, but he has complained that the media has already started putting words in his mouth

And has therefore advised that the media which is one of the stakeholders of football should be professional in the discharge of their duties.

''I have had a lot of experience in my career working and collaborating with media. I expect professionalism out of our organisation on how we deal with you[media], I expect same expect that same respect from the media and all I ask for is you[media] get the facts straight and then you fair.''

''If you guys want to criticise us[Hearts] because we are not doing something right, fine, as long as you got your facts straight and being fair and balanced,''

''I have already seen a couple of headlines that have put words in my mouth that I didn't say,''  He bemoaned in an interview with Joy FM.

Mark Noonan the first foreigner to hold the General Manager position at Accra Hearts of Oak is bent on helping to restore the past glories of the Phobians.

Hearts of Oak have not won the Ghana Premier League since the 2008-09 season
