Thailand sack former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac
Former Ghana boss Milovan Rajevac has been sacked as head coach of Thailand following the Southeast Asian nation’s 4-1 defeat to India at the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 on Sunday.

The Football Association of Thailand announced the Serbian’s dismissal via its official social media outlets, adding that former assistant coach Sirisak Yodyardthai would assume control of the team for the clash with Bahrain on Thursday.
“The result [against India] is not what is expected of the Thai national team and that our supporters deserve,” Football Association of Thailand President Somyot Poompanmoung said in the announcement.
“Like all Thai football fans across the country, I am also disappointed with the result. But as the President of the Football Association, I cannot stand still with this problem,” he added.

Rajevac took charge of Thailand in 2017 after spells with both Qatar and Algeria.
The Serbian also famously guided Ghana to the last eight of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
