Another injury blow hits Black Stars camp

The Black Stars of Ghana have been dealt a triple injury blow ahead of their last round match of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Astana striker, Patrick Twumasi is the latest to join the injury list as Captain Asamoah Gyan and playmaker Christian Atsu have all been sidelined.

Twumasi yesterday picked an ankle injury in the team’s warm friendly against Glow lamp Academy and remains a huge doubt for Sunday’s game.

The striker would have to pass a late fitness test to feature in the match as he is currently being assessed by the medical team of the Black Stars.
