According to a report released by the MLS Players Union, the Brazil legend earns more than some other popular names in the league like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo.
The Orlando City player earns an annual salary of $6,660,000.
Former Liverpool captain, Gerrard who now plays for LA Galaxy, earns $6,200,004 per annum while his old England international team-mate Lampard, now at New York City, is on $6,000,000.
Former Barcelona and Spain striker David Villa is paid $5,610,000, while veteran Italian midfielder, Pirlo is paid $2,000,004 at New York City FC.
Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba earns $1,666,668 at Canadian side Montreal Impact.
