Barcelona fans ANGRY after they were robbed of clear goal against Real Betis

The decision not to integrate goal-line technology could have a massive say on where the title ends up this season after Barcelona were denied a goal against Real Betis.

La Liga was made to look seriously amateur on Sunday as Barcelona were robbed of a clear goal at Real Betis on Sunday lunchtime.

After a goalless first half, Real Betis took control of the second period and were seriously unlucky not to score before they did.

The Betis opener came on 75 and this was the rallying call for Barcelona to come to their senses. Cue a fightback from Luis Enrique’s side.

With Betis 1-0 up Jordi Alba appeared to have scored what would have been the equalising goal, only for play to be waved on.

Luis Suarez equalised in the 90th minute but Barcelona’s failure to take all three points leaves them trailing Real Madrid, who are top of La Liga, by one point.

The draw leaves Barcelona one point behind Real Madrid but Los Blancos have two games in hand, including tonight’s clash against Real Sociedad.
