Manchester United have confirmed the signing of three players, Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich,Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton and full-back Matteo Darmian.
Darmain and Schweinsteiger all had their medicals over the weekend before the club surprisingly announced the signing of French midfielder, Schniederlin.
Schweinsteiger signed a three-year deal, while Darmain joins on a four-year contract with the option to extend for a further year.
The new signings spent Monday morning being fitted for their new United club suits, ahead of the club's pre-season tour.
All three players will be part of Van Gaal's touring squad which has left for America.
Manchester United will play against Mexican side Club America on Saturday, July 18, MLS club San JoseEarthquakes on Wednesday, July 22 and then European giants Barcelona and PSG while in America.
