People think the justice system has failed for his six years jail term

Twitter reacts to Oscar Pistorius' six years jail term for the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013.

Pistorius shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp four times through a locked door in February 2013 and was initially handed a five-year conviction for manslaughter. The South African runner’s charge was later changed to murder in December 2015.

Judge Thokozile Masipa who handed Oscar Pistorius his six-year jail term said mitigating circumstances such as rehabilitation and remorse outweighed the aggravating factors such as Pistorius’ failure to fire a warning shot for deviating from the minimum 15 years jail sentence.

Twitter’s reaction to the athlete's jail term is that justice has once again failed because of money.
