3 student rapists caught in action at female hostel

Police in Delta have arrested three suspected rapists who are students of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.

The students were identified as Joseph Kenneth, Ejiro Philip and Monday Igba.

gathered the suspects were arrested by university security operatives in Oleh and Abraka campuses of the institution, Punch reports.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Celestina Kalu, the trio were while trying to breach female hostels on the campuses.

Kalu revealed that they have been transferred to the state CID for further investigation.

In mid-May, a 22-year-old female student of DELSU was sexually assaulted by an alleged madman at an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) stand.
