However, rivals Ghana are also preparing for the tournament in the same country.

The Serbian was spotted in the stadium when Ghana took on Uzbek club side Bunyodkor in a pre-AFCON friendly on Tuesday.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant subsequently launched a veiled dig at the Uganda coach calling him a “spy”.

The coach of the Cranes has not taken lightly the Israeli's outbursts and hit back with his own, labeling Grant’s comments as “total nonsense”.

”I have never claimed to know everything about the Black Stars,” Sredojevic is quoted as saying by GhanaSoccernet.com.

“I have never seen your team live except for direct matches and for me its total nonsense that you call it spying.”

The row between the two coaches will be much more heated when Ghana and Uganda face-off on January 17. Egypt and Mali complete what will be a tough group D.
