The Human Rights Division of the Accra High Court has set August 15, 2016, for judgment on the case in which Paul Afoko is challenging his suspension as national chairman of the New Patriotic Party.

The presiding judge, Justice Anthony Yeboah adjourned the case following the submission of written addresses by lawyers of Paul Afoko and the NPP on Tuesday morning.
Afoko is challenging his suspension from the NPP in 2015Â in court.
He headed to court last year after the National Council of the NPP upheld the decision of the party's disciplinary committee of the party to suspend him.

The party's General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, and Sammy Crabbe, first vice chair, were also suspended.
Crabbe contested his suspension in court, but his case was dismissed.
