The world number two's withdrawal from the WTA International hard court tournament in the capital of the Silesia region due to a problem with her right shoulder was confirmed on Sunday.

Radwanska was knocked out of the Miami Open by Timea Bacsinszky in the fourth round and has now opted to take a rest in order to return to full fitness.

Anna Karolina Schmiedlova will now be the top seeded player in the tournament in the absence of Radwanska.
