News reaching us says an ISIS' social media post was tracked, and it led to the bombing of one of their headquarters.

Though the intricacies of the tracking technology was not revealed, the Pentagon says it is working on cutting down the strike time to one hour, adding that it took the Airforce team 22hours to hit the target.

Security experts say the attack was launched in-line with the prompt global strike programme.

Gen. Hawk Carlisle, head of Air Combat Command, Langley Field in Virginia, while speaking on the attack said the strike was a co-ordinated effort.
