Dream Team beat Ghana 2-0

The Dream Team of Nigeria trashed their Ghanaian counterparts 2-0 in their three-team Group B game of the on-going All-Africa Games.

After Ghana's draw with Senegal three days ago, the Nigeria U-23 with the  win over Ghana have qualified for the men’s football event semi-finals in Brazzaville.

After a goalless first half,  the Dream Team got their opener in the second half after dominating the game.

Junior Ajayi got on an Etor Daniel pass to give Nigeria the lead in the 55th minute.

And with three minutes remaining, Kingsley Sokari doubled the lead after he lobbed the on rushing Ghana keeper to make it 2-0.

They will take on Senegal in their next group game on Saturday, September 12.
