The Real Madrid star won his first major trophy with the national team on Sunday night when Eder scored in extra time to seal a 1-0 victory over France in Paris.

For the first time in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo has won an international trophy with his country, Portugal.

It looked to be a disastrous night for Ronaldo as he broke down in tears when stretchered off with a knee injury in the 25th minute, but he ended up lifting the trophy with his teammates and manager Fernando Santos.
