Australian track cyclist Anna Meares said Team GB's exploits in Rio have been "amazing" and they deserve their success at the Olympics

Anna Meares has clarified comments she made about Great Britain's success at the Olympics, stressing she has no suspicions that they have been guilty of cheating.

Australian track cyclist Meares was accused of being a sore loser after saying "we're all scratching our heads" as to how Team GB have been so successful in Rio after also racking up the medals in London four years ago.

Meares, who could only add one bronze medal to her Olympic tally in Brazil, on Tuesday stated that her comments were misinterpreted.
