Club fans arrested after vandalising White Hart Lane

 
 
After their victory over Tottenham, some Arsenal fans damaged the hoardings at the stadium of their rivals

A number of Arsenal fans were arrested for carrying out damages to White Hart Lane, after their 2-1 victory away at their rivals, Tottenham.

Midfielder, Matthieu Flamini was the man of the match scoring a brace to hand Arsenal the win in the Capital One Cup clash on the night of Wednesday, September 23.

Ecstatic at the victory, the away fans ripped up hoardings at the stadium of their rivals while there were also reports of some clashes between both set of fans.

The FA have revealed that they aware of the incidents and are conducting investigations with the corporation of the clubs.

"We are concerned that this happened, involving a minority of fans," an Arsenal spokesman is quoted to say by Daily Mail.

"We will work with Tottenham Hotspur and the authorities on this."

The incident could land Arsenal and and possibly Spurs  in FA hot water over failing to control their supporters.
