The 30-year-old striker completed a season-long-loan move from Shanghai SIPG to Al Ahli Dubai last week.

Asamoah Gyan left the Chinese side after Brazilian striker Hulk arrived from Zenit Saint Petersburg and appeared he was going to start games from the bench.

In order to get enough playing time, Gyan has returned to the UAE league a place he won the top scorer’s award twice with Al Ain to get his career back on track.
