SDA evangelist killed by hit-and-run driver

The deceased, Akwasi Boateng was embarking on his dawn preaching at Tanfo Aduam near Ashanti Bekwai around 4:am Sunday when he was knocked down by the unidentified driver, killing him instantly.

Police in Bekwai in the Ashanti region have launched a manhunt for a hit-and-run driver for allegedly knocking down and killing a 45 year-old Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) preacher on Sunday morning.

The driver was reportedly driving at top speed when the incident happened.

A family member has told Accra-based Adom FM that the body of the deceased was dismembered so they were forced to bury him instantly."We had to put the scattered body parts in a sack to enable us convey it to the cemetery. It is very sad" the family member said.
