Ghana's Junior Swim Team will be participating in the African Junior Championship in Cairo, Egypt from March 27 to March 31.

Ghanas Junior Swim Team left the country on Monday, March 27, 2017 to participate in the African Junior Championship in Cairo, Egypt.

The championship has been scheduled to take place on the 28th to 31st of March, 2017.

The team led by the National Junior Team Coach Mr. Jonathan Amoako-Atta and Akosua Boatemaa Baidoo, their physiotherapist.

The swimmers are Kow Asafuah Jackson (Captain)  , Maayaa Abigediwer Ayawere,  Ryan Degraft Ackun,  Prince Abdullah Adjetey Sowah,  Micheal Ego Kumi, Rebecca Korantemaa Gayathri Asare , Papa Yaw Poku-Dwumoh.

The team is expected to return on the 1st of April.

Here are the events Ghana will be participating in. 50m freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, 4 X 100 Fresstyle Relay (Mix), 4 X 100 Medley Relay (Mix).
