Ghana youngster joins Aldershot Town

National League side Aldershot Town have signed Bernard Mensah after the striker was released by Watford.

The 21-year-old, who made two first-team appearances for the Hornets, has agreed a one-year deal with the Shots.

Mensah had two loan spells at Braintree Town and one at Barnet during his time at Vicarage Road.

"He could probably have stayed at a higher level and in many ways we are fortunate that we've got him," Aldershot boss Gary Waddock said.
