The Lynx Entertainment artiste has been nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category alongside AKA (South Africa), Black Coffee (South Africa), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Serge Beynaud (Cote D’ivoire), Wizkid (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade (Nigeria).

This makes her the first Ghanaian female artiste to have secured a nomination at the BET Awards.

A section of the public, including musicians, have congratulated her for this achievement and have wished her well.

However, others think she did not deserve the nomination.
