Players of Tema Youth chose to change for their Division One league game against Dreams FC under a tree instead of the dressing room.

The decision was made by Tema Youth boss, Wilfred Osei Parma as a measure to protect his players from possible intimidation from the home team.

"We think they feared our fans would attack them because of an incident which occurred between sets of fans when our team played in Tema, Henry Asante Twum of Dreams FC told.

"We made efforts to including going with the police to clear a path to the dressing room area but they refused and even sat on the pitch at half time for their team talk. There was no basis for their actions and we feel it was their own guilty conscience that led them on."

In response, the owner of Tema Youth Wilfred Osei Kwaku Parma denied the existence of a dressing room at the Kweiman home grounds Dreams FC.

"There is no dressing room available at that facility so how could we have refused to enter and change in it. They had planned to assault me but their plans could not materialise."

Dreams FC eventually won the game 2-0.
