Senegal remains the top ranked African side with Tunisia, Egypt DR Congo and Morocco following suit to complete the Top 5.

Germany are still the number one ranked team by FIFA with Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium following in that order.

Nigeria are the only team outside the top 5 ranked teams in Africa going to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
