The Las Palmas player sustained an injury a couple of weeks ago but was named by Black Stars coach Avram Grant for the fixtures against Mozambique.

Wakaso is expected to be fit before the senior national team of Ghana take on their Mozambique adversaries at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

The Black Stars midfielder also spent some time with the family ahead of joining the other players in camp on Monday.
