Bol Open: Ana Konjuh to face Mandy Minella
Teenager Ana Konjuh is just two victories away from winning the Bol Open in her homeland after beating fellow Croatian Tereza Mrdeza in the quarter-finals on Friday.
Konjuh claimed her maiden WTA title in Nottingham last year and the 18-year-old remains in the hunt for a second tournament success this week after seeing off wildcard Mrdeza 6-3 7-6 (7-5).
Mandy Minella stands in the way of fifth seed Konjuh and a place in the final after the world number 186 from Luxembourg beat Marina Erakovic 7-5 6-4.
Nao Hibino and Polona Hercog will contest the other semi-final following victories over Stefanie Vogele and Kristina Kucova respectively.
Hibino, seeded four, eased to a 6-2 6-2 triumph over the unseeded Swiss, while seventh seed Hercog was a 6-4 6-1 winner over Slovakian Kucova.
