Bomb blast hits Maiduguri market

An explosion has occurred today, March 7, at a crowded market in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The bomber was reportedly trying to get entry into the motor park of the Baga fish market when the device went off.

“About ten persons were confirmed killed so far but the blast was massive. We are still taking count of casualties,” a security source, who chose to remain anonymous, informed Premium Times.

The attack has however not been officially confirmed by the relevant authorities.
