Liverpool fans call for sack of manager, want Rafa Benitez

A group of Liverpool fans earlier today, Saturday, May 2 called for the sack of their manager Brendan Rodgers and calling for the return of former coach, Rafael Benitez.

It has been reported that Napoli coach will be returning this summer as manager of Liverpool something a group of fans want as they flew a banner across Anfield during a league game against Queens Park Rangers.

An airplane carrying a message reading ‘Rodgers Out, Rafa in’ was seen ahead of the the game.

Twitter account ‘@RodgersOutClub’ revealed they had arranged for the banner to fly over the club’s stadium because they did not want ‘to stand for mediocrity anymore’ in reference to the club’s recent poor results, which included a midweek 1-0 loss to Hull City.
