RELATED: 2 dead, several others injured in Cape Coast accident

The victims are believed to be inmates of the Kenyasi Prisons Camp who were returning from a farm near Ntotroso where they had gone to load timber onto a truck.

Police say one of the prisoners died on the spot while the other died upon arrival at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Saint Elizabeth Hospital morgue, pending further investigations.
