Kano, Adamawa attacks: President vows to end B/Haram menace soon

President Muhammadu Buhari has reassured Nigerians that terror group, Boko Haram, would be defeated soon.

The President, who was reacting to the recent bomb blasts in Adamawa and Kano States, vowed that the terrorists would be wiped out in no time, describing their latest attacks as barbaric.

He stated this in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant ‎on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu‎.

The President extended his condolences to the families of the victims and to the governments of Adamawa and Kano, while calling for increased vigilance among the civilian population to help ward off suicide terror attacks on soft targets around the country.

The insurgents had detonated a twin bomb at the Kano GSM market today, November 18, leaving scores dead.

The attack followed the bombing carried out by the militants at a motor park in Yola, Adamawa state yesterday, November 17,
