Tom Strand to travel with club, Medeama SC confirm

News were rife that the Swedish tactician has been left out ahead of Medeama’s trip to South Africa after going AWOL –missing the club’s two Premier League games.

However, the Tarkwa giants in a swift reaction have rubbished those claims, insisting the former Bechem United gaffer is part of the club’s contingent to South Africa.

"I don't know where the reports are coming from. He is traveling with the team," Chief Executive James Essilfie told medeamafmonline

"We are focused on the game and don't want to get distracted by such reports. It's a total fabrication."

The Mauve and Yellows are expected to leave the shores of Ghana for South Africa Today (Wednesday).
