England and Saracens wing Chris Ashton will definitely miss the Six Nations after failing with an appeal against his 10-week ban.

Ashton was found guilty of making contact with the eyes of Ulster's Luke Marshall during a European Champions Cup match last month, but opted to challenge the verdict.
The 28-year-old was expected to learn his fate on Wednesday, when a three-man Appeal Committee met in London, but the case was adjourned until the following day.
Former rugby league man Ashton has now been informed that his suspension will not be lifted or reduced, so he will not be in contention to make his England comeback in the Six Nations.
Ashton will instead be hoping to return to action for Premiership leaders Saracens at Bath on April 1.
