Kwesi Appiah names starting XI against Congo in Brazzaville

Richmond Boakye Yiadom will lead the attacking force of Kwesi Appiahs charges when they face Congo in Brazzaville on Tuesday at 2:30pm in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Richard Ofori will be in between the sticks to protect the goal area of the team, while Agbenyenu Lumor who was an unused substitute against Congo in Kumasi due to late arrival has returned to the team to play in the left full back position, with Harrison Afful who came in from the bench in Kumasi and was a serious doubt for this tie due to a toe injury has surprisingly booked a place in the starting XI to operate from the right full back.

In midfield Kwesi Appiah continued to keep faith in Ebenezer Ofori and Thomas Partey in the heart of the midfield, but this time around they will be joined by Afriyie Acquah.
